This painting is entitled La Scapigliata (The Lady with Dishevelled Hair) which was made by Da Vinci in 1506 – 1508. This work is a sketch made by Da Vinci, but until the end of his life he never finished the sketch he made. The Lady with Dishevelled Hair is a work that uses the sfumato technique. The sfumato technique is a painting technique that was commonly developed during the Renaissance. Da Vinci created his 2 magnum opus with this technique, as seen in the Mona Lisa and The Virgin of The Rocks.
