Parasites in Pork

In Prague (Praag), it was reported that some people got sick after eating pork. After being examined by a doctor, those people were diagnosed of having trichinosis caused by the parasitic worm trichinen (tricinella) which is found in pork. When entering the body, these worms will multiply into thousands in just a short time. Unsurprisingly, these worms can also cause death. Therefore, governments in various countries prohibit their citizens from selling pork that has not been examined by a doctor/expert.
