Description

This painting is entitled Wheatstacks which was made by Oscar-Claude Monet in 1890 – 1891. This painting is one of the paintings in the Haystacks Series by Monet. In this series of Haystacks Series made by Monet in the period 1888 – 1891. There are various versions of the haystack, some are entitled Wheatstacks (1890 – 1891), Grainstacks (1890).

In fact, there are various kinds of sides and effects, such as the painting entitled Wheatstacks, Snow Effect, Morning (1891), Grainstack. (Sunset.) (1890 – 1891), Wheatstacks (End of Summer) (1890 – 1891), Haystack in the Evening Sun (1891). Some of the titles mentioned do not cover the entire collection of the Haystacks Series painted in Monet's signature impressionism style. The inspiration for painting the Haystacks Series came when Monet lived in Giverny, Northern France in 1883 and at that time Monet paid a lot of attention to the harvest of wheat, grain, and barley in Giverny.
