This painting is entitled The Last Supper. This painting was made by Leonardo da Vinci in 1495 – 1498. This painting depicts the last supper of Jesus with his 12 disciples. This painting takes the story from the Bible, Jesus had a banquet with 12 of his disciples and this meal was his last meal and Jesus would never see his disciples again. Because Jesus was then crucified on Mount Golgotha. This painting was done by Da Vinci by order of Ludovico Sforza, ruler of Milan. This painting became one of his iconic works, also became an icon in many Christian theological literature. There are so many Christian theology books that make this painting the cover of the book.
