After receiving a rebuke from the high government in the Netherlands, the Commission, which was formed to investigate the unemployment of the population in the Dutch East Indies, began to hold meetings to resolve the problem. This commission was formed many years ago by the government of the Dutch East Indies to figure out why people are finding it increasingly difficult to find work. Previously, they had sent letters containing hundreds of questions related to unemployment to all residents of the Dutch East Indies. However, after that, there was no follow-up.
