The Revolusi di Nusa Damai (Revolt in Paradise) is the story of the struggle of Muriel Stuart Walker or commonly known by his pen name K'tut Tantri in fighting for Indonesian independence. K'tut Tantri is a Scottish-American woman and also an Indonesian radio broadcaster. Bung Tomo recruited K'tut Tantri to broadcast messages on Indonesian independence on the radio. Tantri expertise is needed by Indonesia, because of its proficiency in English and also to broadcast Indonesia's independence to the world. K'tut Tantri broadcast news about the 1945 Battle of Surabaya, on the Indonesian side when the war was raging against the British and Dutch in Surabaya. K'tut Tantri's role on radio led Dutch and British correspondents to know him as "Soerabaja Sue." K'tut Tantri then went to Australia to garner Australian support for Indonesia and to organize demonstrations to the boycott of the Dutch in Australia.
